Building a house starting from the roof is a mistake, but building an identity on a wrong name is a disaster. Today we launch this series, CRONICAE BUNKER, and we do it «Ab Initio» (From the beginning). 🏛️🏗️
It has become fashionable to call half the world «Latino,» forgetting that Latinitas was born in Latium and forged in the European provinces of the Empire. The true Latins are us: the Spaniards, the French, the Italians, and the Romanians. We are the direct heirs of the language, the law, and the stone of Rome. 🏛️🛡️
Our brothers on the other side of the Atlantic are Hispano-Americans or Lusitanians (in the case of Brazil)—heirs to an incredible saga, but with their own identity that deserves its correct name. Reclaiming our European roots is not about excluding; it is about precision. It is about laying the foundations of our own house before the winds of confusion blow it away. 🌪️❌
In this bunker in Cambrils, among books and reflections, I have decided that enough is enough with «starting from the roof.» We are going to rebuild our vision of the world brick by brick, with the persistence of a legionnaire: «Vincit Qui Patitur» (He who persists, conquers). ⚔️🛡️
